An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, independent and committed nurse to join our highly motivated team as a Band 5 Staff Nurse for the Unit Expansion.
The Endoscopy Unit offers a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures ranging from Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, PEG insertion, ERCP, EUS, pH Manometry, Breath Tests and Capsule Endoscopy. We also perform non GI procedures like Bronchoscopy, EBUS and Pleural Tap. The Endoscopy Unit is open Monday, Thursday and Friday from 0800 to 1900 except on Mondays and Wednesdays when we close at 2000 and Saturday and Sunday 0800 to 1800.We also provide Out of Hours on call service on weekdays 19:00 to 08:00, Weekends and Bank Holidays 08:00 to 08:00 ( 24 hours).
If you have an Endoscopy experience, either general or specialist and feel ready to meet the challenge and participate in the ongoing development of our progressive and aspiring unit, we in turn can offer an abundance of opportunities to develop and expand your nursing practice in a supportive, friendly, and caring environment.
