Exciting opportunities are available at UHSM - Wythenshawe Hospital for Band 5 staff nurses to join our brilliant teams across Complex Health.

University Hospital of South Manchester are seeking enthusiastic, dedicated and highly motivated Registered Nurses to work at one of the UK’s top Foundation Trusts within the Complex Health and Social Care Directorate (Unscheduled Care).

We are looking to recruit a Band 5 Staff Nurse, who is enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who is ready for an exciting new experience to join a dynamic Team.

You will have the support of the nursing, medical and therapy teams to provide a high standard of care in a safe environment. The role of the Band 5 nurse is focused on the delivery of high quality, evidence based nursing care,

Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to function well within a team environment as you will be working as part of a highly motivated team dedicated to delivering high quality care. You will need to be self-motivated and interested in caring for acutely unwell and rehabilitating patients.

Opportunities will be offered within the workplace to enable you to extend your knowledge and skills with training opportunities in and out of the clinical environment.

To assist the Trust in reducing healthcare associated infections you should become familiar with the Trust’s Hand Decontamination Policy, attend mandatory induction training and be compliant with all hand hygiene standards at all times.
