Staff Nurse (RGN) - Elderly Nursing Home - Prestigious Healthcare Provider - Southport - Salary up to £16 per hour

Working Hours: Full Time Days

The home relaxed environment and the ideal individual will have experience working with the elderly. You will also require a high level of clinical skill, with the capabilities or willingness to learn in; Peg Feeds, Venepuncture, Catheters and Wound Care.

They are looking for an experienced and hands-on Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join their team at this elderly nursing home in Southport. The service provides end of life, palliative and respite care to elderly residents.

You will be an excellent Nurse (RGN) with experience in clinical leadership looking for an exciting new Staff Nurse position within a prestigious nursing home for the elderly in Southport

The role of the Staff Nurse (RGN) is:

•To provide exceptional, person-centred care within a clinical setting
•Assess the changing needs and condition of residents and review care plans accordingly
•Be confident enough to react accordingly to emergencies
•Ensure medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered
•Develop and maintain excellent working relationships within a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals including social workers and community teams
•Partake in the training and induction of all new members of staff, healthcare assistants and student nurses
•Comply with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines including acting upon CQC recommendations

As a Staff Nurse (RGN) you will have:

•Experience in a similar setting (hospital or nursing home)
•A general or mental health nursing qualification (RGN)
•Current registration with the NMC
•The legal right to work in the UK
