I am recruiting for a Staff Nurse RGN to work for an internationally known company in their new site in Redhill. This unit specialises in respiratory care for post Critical Care Patients. Duties of a Staff Nurse (RGN) - Respiratory Unit:
The new Staff Nurse (RGN) - Respiratory Unit will independently manage a group of patients within the Centre whilst working as part of the multidisciplinary team, delivering individualised and personalised direct patient care. You will be Responsible for the correct administration of prescribed medication including transfusion of blood and blood products. The new Staff Nurse will act as an advocate for patients, to ensure a patient orientated approach to the delivery of care and to meet standards defined by CQC and other relevant guidelines.

Am I the right person for this Registered Nurse role?
To be successful in this role of registered nurse you'll need to be an NMC Registered nurse with an active PIN number. You will have come from an Acute background however Respiratory or HDU experience would be ideal. You will have an up to date knowledge of current clinical and professional issues, knowledge of evidence based practice and the ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate specialist care delivered to patients/clients and give relevant advice/information to patients and relatives. The new Staff Nurse will need to have in depth drugs knowledge and have the ability to administer prescribed medication including transfusion of blood and blood products.
