Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN) - Nursing Home - Leominster, Herefordshire - £15.10 per hour

Working Hours: 37.5 hours

I am currently recruiting for an experienced Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) to join this elderly general nursing home. You will be joining a local elderly and dementia healthcare provider which is very highly regarded across the region. You will be an experienced Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) who has experience working in a clinical elderly general nursing environment.

This small elderly service delivers general nursing care to 33 residents. The home is looking for a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with experience working in a general nursing, clinical care setting. The ideal individual will be dedicated and passionate about elderly care and prides themselves in making a real difference to the residents in their care. The service provides general nursing care to elderly residents over the age of 55 who have age related nursing needs.

My client is part of a small group of services who aim to deliver an exceptional level of nursing care for the elderly across the region. The home is looking for a conscientious and experienced Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN) to join their team. As one of the area's most reputable healthcare providers, all staff are supported in their professional development by a varied training and support program and an initial comprehensive induction period. Progression is actively encourage by the service so if you are looking to grow personally and professionally this is a great opportunity for you.

As Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) you will have proven experience working in a similar clinical setting and be confident in providing leadership and guidance to junior members of staff. You will be expected to have a clear understanding and awareness of theoretical and clinical changes within nursing and of the role of the CQC.

The role of the Staff Nurse (RGN or RMN) is:

•Deliver the highest standards of care with dignity and respect
•Develop, review and update care plans
•Comply with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines
•Ensure medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered
•Ensure all relevant policies and procedures are read, understood are adhered to by all staff
•Provide clinical leadership & supervision for the healthcare staff
•Participate in the induction and training of all new staff on the unit
•Supervise and monitor standards of care and take appropriate action to improve standards when required
•Ensure all clinical documentation is well maintained and filed in the appropriate places

As a Staff Nurse (RGN or RMN) you will have:

•Experience in a similar setting (Hospital or Nursing Home)
•A general nursing qualification (RMN)
•Current and valid registration with the NMC
•The legal right to work in the UK
