Avonbourne is a 23 bedded acute medical ward which specialises in gastroenterology. We now have a vacancy for a committed and proactive staff nurse to join our friendly team. The post is for 375 hours per week worked as long days, nights and weekends. In order to enjoy working with us you should be organised and confident in an acute setting. You will need to be able to prioritise your workload and be able to work in a fast paced ever changing environment to deliver high standards of safe care delivery. We have a very friendly team and we all work together very well. We are also very keen to support your development. You will need to be able to commit to a fully flexible rota which includes night duties and weekend working. We do require that you have had previous NHS experience in an acute setting within the past 2 years. This post is suitable for experienced nurses only and is not appropriate for those about to qualify
