The High Dependency Unit is a purpose built unit looking after up to 20 patients from General and Forensic Psychiatry. This is an active therapeutic environment, which provides group and individual activities and rehabilitation within a safe and secure setting. We have earned a good reputation for our approach through the work of our multi- disciplinary team and are proud of our clinical successes.
We are now looking for a staff nurse who can make a valuable contribution to this progressive environment. Candidates should have a desire to develop a career in Mental Health. We are also looking for nurses with an interest in low- secure and Forensic psychiatry.
Applicants must have a genuine commitment to working within the mental health area, matched with a positive approach to caring and a thorough knowledge of patients’ rights under the Mental Health Act.
We will provide a comprehensive induction and orientation programme and continued support through a comprehensive professional development and Clinical Supervision package.
This post is eligible for a £1500 new hire bonus. An initial payment of £500 will be paid in the first 6 months and a final payment of £1000 will be paid 1 year after your start date.
