Previous experience as a registered nurse is not necessary although recent experience in the acute care setting is required. We will offer the opportunity to complete the internal band 5 preceptorship program depending on your previous experience.

Priestley Ward is a 25 bedded female general surgery, orthopaedic and gynaecology unit caring for patients undergoing a wide range of gynaecological and surgical procedures.
We have an attached early pregnancy assessment unit that provides support to women with early pregnancy problems.

Thomas Audley is very busy 28 bed surgical ward of all varieties. It is a friendly ward, good team work with a quick turnover. We have patients that are either from A/E, elective admissions, stepdown from ITU/HDU and transferred from other NHS Trusts.
This post will be internal rotation and we are looking for staff who have good common sense, are able to communicate well and who are looking for a challenge.
