Staff Nurse

Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a staff nurse to support the current team. An induction programme, preceptorship and competency training packs, specific to the Urgent and Emergency Care environment, supports new starters. A supernumerary period allows staff to build confidence and skills and allows for clinical supervision with an allocated mentor. The main responsibilities will be related to clinical and nursing care within the Short Stay Unit with an emphasis on personal development. Previous experience in a critical care setting would be desirable however a keen interest in cardiothoracics and the intensive care environment is essential.
