Parklands OPMH provides assessment for older people with both organic and functional acute mental health problems.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for qualified Band 5 Staff Nurses. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, enthusiastic and positive about the care of older people. You must be a highly motivated, competent and flexible practitioner. You will be part of the team assessing needs and providing an individualised plan of care for patients, and support for family and carers.

If you are looking for an active role to develop your clinical skills in the area of caring for older people, then we have the position for you. You will be responsible for working in partnership with the whole team and will play a vital role in the development of the ward.We offer regular supervision, team support and encourage personal and professional development.

You need to be able to demonstrate; strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, be organised and possess good IT skills.

This post would be suitable both RMN and RGN registered applicants.

A DBS check is required by the Employer for this post. The Employer will undertake an initial check at the appropriate level on appointment.
