We provide inpatient, day care and community specialist palliative and supportive care to people with life limiting illnesses and their families within Sussex and Surrey.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse who is passionate about nursing and who wants to make a difference to patients by having the opportunity to provide high quality care, and to also to be part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team, which provides pain and symptom control, respite care, complex psychological support and end of life care to patients and their families.

Sound communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work using your own initiative in prioritising the clinical case load, providing clear instruction and support to the team of nursing assistants and student nurses on placement within the unit.

As a reflective practitioner with a commitment to the provision of excellent specialist palliative care, these posts offer the opportunity to develop your skills within a specialist setting.

The Hospice is committed to the development and professional education of our staff and has excellent educational links with Higher Education institutions in the local area alongside internal training provision.
