Following on from the reconfiguration of our services the opportunity has arisen for us to open a new 20 bedded medical ward.
If you are interested in complex discharge and would like to improve your skills in this area then this could be the job for you. We are building a new team of nursing staff and are looking for Band 5 nurses to provide high quality nursing care to this group of patients.
This post would suit experienced nurses, newly qualified, or nurses who are thinking of returning to nursing after a career break or someone who would like to work in a hospital for the first time. We pride ourselves on been able to deliver excellent nursing care in a calm supportive environment. The ward is centred on rehabilitation and transition from hospital to community care so our patients feel ready and safe for discharge from hospital. The ward is also able to offer a tranquil setting for patients at the end stages of their life.
You will need to be highly motivated, enthusiastic and a good team player to help develop a friendly and efficient nursing team. In return for your enthusiasm we offer a supportive and friendly environment where you will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills within this specialty.
