Robin Pinto Unit are looking for enthusiastic and committed staff nurses to join the multi-disciplinary team.
If you are registered and have an interest in promoting service user/carer involvement and recovery within secure services then this post is for you.
The post holder must be a First Level Registered Mental Health Nurse with good knowledge of assessment, planning and delivering care. Knowledge of risk management and therapeutic risk within the clinical setting is essential.
You will possess knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983, especially in relation to criminal sections.
You will be supportive, have an understanding of relational security and be able to develop and maintain a therapeutic relationship with service users. The ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team is a requirement of this post.
Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate a commitment to personal and professional development, supervising and leading junior staff.
The unit operates a 24-hour rotational shift pattern and we require a high degree of flexibility regarding rotation between day and night shifts, including weekends and bank holiday.
