An opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic, motivated individuals who are interested in developing their critical care skills.
The purpose built 5 bedded Critical Care Unit in Bronglais Hospital (BGH) is currently looking for a Band 5 Nurses. The post will be full or part time with night rotation.
Successful applicants will be fully supported whilst gaining experience in the care of critically ill patients undergoing a variety of critical care interventions. Following orientation and completion of relevant competencies, staff may have the opportunity to access university based post-graduate course.
The successful candidate must demonstrate some knowledge of Critical Care Nursing and have a willingness to develop their skills further.
The applicants should be able to demonstrate the use of evidence based practice and be proactive in managing change. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, together with a readiness to innovate and develop nursing within a team approach.
Bronglais Hospital, is a Rural Hospital, in the University town of Aberystwyth, situated in the heart of Cardigan Bay.
Ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post, though not essential.
