Staff Nurse – Band 5

Staff Nurse Haemodialysis Unit based at Royal Stoke

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Band 5 to work on the Haemodialysis Unit within a busy Renal Department. The Haemodialysis Unit comprises of 46 stations and provides a Critical Care Unit outreach service.

The team is cohesive and professional with a genuine interest and passion for providing a high standard of patient care. If you are looking for a new challenge, then this innovative unit will provide you with the opportunities for professional development and an exciting and rewarding career in Renal Nursing.

The post holder will have excellent communication skills and have the ability, drive and enthusiasm to work within a motivated team to provide high quality patient care. As part of the dedicated nursing team within this area the Staff Nurse will be able to utilise all skills including assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of care on a shift basis.

The Renal Unit is a new state of the art building and also includes a inpatient ward, Transplant Service, CKD team, Research Team and a Home Therapy Department.
