Job Title: Band 5 In-Patient Nurse Practitioner Mental Health
Salary band: Band 5
Hours: Full-time 375 hours per week
Location: Western Community Hospital
Older Peoples Mental Health (OPMH) Service is looking for motivated Registered Nurses to join our local nursing team; providing inpatient care to older people with mental health needs in Southampton.
The service is expanding its nursing team in line with its Quality Improvement Plan and if successful, you will play an important role as we aspire to provide excellent patient care.
To be a successful member of our team you will need to be a registered mental health nurse with relevant experience, have a genuine interest in working with older people and be able to demonstrate a real commitment to providing high quality and compassionate care to patients and their families.
All staff will be asked to work flexibly across a range of day and night shifts and often at short notice across the three OPMH assessment wards providing care to older people with functional mental health needs or with dementia.
In return for your flexibility and commitment we can offer excellent training and personal development support. There may also be opportunities to work in other parts of the service.
The Western Community Hospital is based in the Millbrook area of Southampton and is close to good road and rail networks.
