We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic qualified/newly qualified staff nurses to join an already established team of nurses within the In Patient Care Medical Directorate.

You will be given the opportunity to work in areas of medicine including Respiratory, Gastroenterology and Care of the older Person specialties and as well as caring for all patients with general medicinal conditions on our Short Stay Units.

The role will involve full day and night rotation

With an ever increasing ageing population, the challenge of nursing the older person with acute complex medical and nursing care needs is ever expanding. Providing high levels of safe nursing care to vulnerable patients and the ability to lead and work in nursing teams to manage complex discharging processes is essential.

Maintaining high standards of nursing care and having excellent communication skills and leadership skills will be essential to this role. The use of evidence based practise will be essential to take forward the dementia and safeguarding strategies for the older person alongside being able to provide the highest of safe, dignified quality care.
