Wiltshire Health and Care is formed from a partnership of the three NHS Foundation Trusts who serve Wiltshire, Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust and Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust. From 1st July 2016 Wiltshire Health and Care will provide adult community health services in Wiltshire. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent position to Band 5 staff nurse on Longleat Ward, Warminster Hospital.
Longleat Ward at Warminster Community Hospital provides an inpatient service for residents of Wiltshire. The ward and hospital provide a friendly working environment and are situated in a market town between Salisbury and Bath.
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nurse who has drive and enthusiasm for the role. You will be joining a dedicated interdisciplinary team comprising nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, medics and social workers. Longleat Ward provides care for patients who are resident throughout Wiltshire. We provide rehabilitation as well as clinically managing the patients’ acute illness.
As a registered nurse you will be able to work autonomously, as part of the team providing excellent standards of care to the patients and their relatives/carers.
The role of the Community Hospital is constantly evolving within the health setting and you will be required to support and develop services to ensure that Longleat Ward will be fit for the future.
