The Hospice requires professional and enthusiastic Staff Nurses to work primarily in our In-Patient Unit. Flexibility is required across all clinical departments and working hours will vary between Monday to Sunday and will include, day, evening, night and weekend working.
Reporting to the Senior Sister / Clinical Ward Manager, the main purpose of this role is to provide the highest standard of physical, psychological, social and spiritual care for patients, their relatives and friends. You will use your expertise to the highest standards in order to meet all the requirements of our clinical governance.
Applicants should be fully qualified RGN / Adults with minimum 12 months post registration experience, preferably in palliative care. In addition to your proven clinical skills, we are looking for excellent communication skills, empathy and sensitivity, good team working and a flexible approach to the role.
Staff Nurse Salary is £22,036 to £27,306 per annum depending on experience (full time equivalent - pro rata for part time hours). Additional unsociable hour enhancements will be paid for weekend, night and bank holiday work - T&C’s apply.

The post is not a salary incremental post and pay reviews are at the discretion of the Hospice.
