About the Client:

My specialised newly refurbished Orthopaedic department offers the full range of orthopaedic investigations and treatments ranging from the simple to the most complex surgery. It is provided by leading consultants from many of London's top teaching hospitals


Your role as Staff Nurse-Orthopaedics includes the responsibility for assessing, planning and delivering a high standard of care according to patient's individual needs.
You will be involved in post-surgery recovery and your previous experience will account for patient co-morbities allowing you to determine correct care pathway.

As Staff Nurse-Orthopaedics you will take receipt of patients from ITU or HDU ensuring safe transfer.
All ad-hoc nursing duties will be undertaken including the teaching and development of junior staff, accurate record keeping and implementing change within the department.

About the Individual:

In order to be successful in your application to the role of Staff Nurse-Orthopaedics you will be NMC registered with significant orthopaedic surgical experience.

You must be skilled in or prepared to undergo training in one or more of the following: Phlebotomy, Cannulation, VAC dressing
