We can offer a stepping stone towards securing a Band 6 role which will allow you to gain experience in areas such as service development, teaching and being an appraiser/ supervisor/ educator to more junior staff and students.

If you have a passion for working with elderly people and would like to develop your clinical skills in the management of conditions such as Dementia, Parkinsons Disease and Falls, you need look no further!

Successful candidates will meet the essential criteria set out in the attached job description and person specification. In brief you will need to demonstrate:

• Varied experience as a band 5, which will include working with elderly patients in an acute in-patient setting
• Evidence of on-going learning and commitment to CPD
• Experience of MDT working, communication and complex discharge planning
• Willingness to complete clinical educators course and subsequently participate in supervision of physiotherapy students

We are looking for someone who demonstrates initiative, strong team working skills and a passion for excellence in patient care.

We can offer a structured in-service training programme, support to attend appropriate courses, regular supervision and appraisal.
