Up to £31,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Permanent, 37 hours per week

Our client is a charity providing specialist drug and alcohol support services since 1984. They offer a wide range of recovery focused support options, aiming to help individuals to address their drug or alcohol problems and get their lives back on track.

Substance Misuse Project Lead – The role

Our client will provide a specialist substance misuse role working within one of their partner Charities.  The post will initially be based at their Head Office in Littlemore, Oxford and you will have close liaison with a range of diverse services across the Thames Valley area.  Access to your own vehicle – along with a full driving licence – would be great! Our client is looking for someone to make a huge impact on how people with mental health and drug or alcohol problems are supported.

This is a brand new role, responsible for providing individuals and teams with education, training and support in drug and alcohol recovery.  You will develop and implement a best practice model of early intervention, engagement and support for staff and service users linked to substance misuse. Working collaboratively across their, and other partnerships will be a key part of the role to improve substance misuse services and community employment training and education support.

Having knowledge of utilising social media and new digital technologies to deliver online training and communication, as part of a wider mental health and well-being agenda, will be essential in your role.
