We have opportunities for two Support Workers to join us on permanent contracts of 37.5 hours per week in our service in Chigwell. Working times will be on a rota basis with shifts spread across the weekdays, weekends and bank holidays. These will include mornings, afternoons, evenings and sleep ins. Flexibility is therefore important for us to meet the needs of the people we support.

As Support Worker your role will be to provide support to adults with a learning disability. As part of your role, you will prepare, update and review care plans as necessary. Record keeping is an important element of this role. You will be actively involved in promoting and encouraging the people we support to make their own choices in everything they do. Some of these activities will include cooking, cleaning, personal care, attending health appointments and going out into the community.

Ultimately we are looking for someone with a 'can-do' attitude, who is enthusiastic, patient and has good transferable skills, and most importantly who is committed and passionate about changing the lives of people with learning disability. In exchange for your hard work, we will ensure that you get the training and development that you deserve, a real meaning and purpose to your job

Driving is desirable but not essential for this role
