Support Services Assistant

Job Description


Main responsibilities:To ensure the cleanliness and adequate provision of clean linen, and other consumables, to patient bedrooms and other general hospital areas. Delivering food and beverages to patients and visitors and to remove the crockery after use.  Responsible for passing on information regarding customer nutritional requirements and assist the patient with their meal choice to complement their dietary reqirements.  To ensure daily cleaning of the outer areas and resident rooms.

Working hours:30 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days per week including alternate weekends.

Essential qualifications and training required:Experience of working in a customer focused environment or similar organisation is desirable but not essential.
