Our client has been successfully providing housing and support in the community for adults with mental health needs for over 40 years.
Support Time Recovery Worker – The role
They are excited to be working with Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust and Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust to deliver the Criminal Justice Liaison and Diversion Service for Oxfordshire.
People they would like to support include those with: mental health problems – learning disabilities – alcohol and substance misuse issues – housing needs and debt problems.
Your role would be to build trusting relationships with individuals and support them to access expert help for the problems that may have led them to the criminal justice system.
If you share their belief and would like to be involved in this exciting work we have a team of professionals waiting to welcome you, they include, community psychiatric and learning disability nurses, consultant psychiatrists and psychologists.
Our client has a training department and a primary focus of supervision is learning and development. You will find that your colleagues are supportive and welcoming in your new role and that you receive excellent support from the management team who are committed to supporting staff to develop their skills and ensuring that staff members feel listened to and supported.
The role can be challenging but very rewarding. You will be able to use your initiative and demonstrate your leadership skills to ensure that residents are empowered and supported to work towards their life goals and independence.
