Job Description

Type of Service: 24hr supported living for individuals with profound disabilities and complex health needs.

Salary: £15,251 to £19,461 pa depending on skills, qualifications, experience and needs of the service.

We are seeking enthusiastic, highly motivated support workers to work alongside nurses in the delivery of high quality care to individuals with profound disabilities and often complex health needs, who require assistance with personal care, daily living, budgeting and social/leisure activities.

TQ21 strives to encourage the people we support to share their strengths, to contribute to and feel part of their community, to be inspired to direct their own lives with self-worth and dignity, with a sense of belonging and to enjoy the friendship of others.

A clean, valid driving licence (manual) is essential and you will be required to drive individuals using their own adapted vehicles.

A DBS check is required by the Employer for this post. The Employer will undertake an initial check at the appropriate level on appointment. As a condition of employment you are required to register with the online DBS update service and maintain this registration throughout employment; costs associated with this will be reimbursed, subject to taxation in line with guidance from HMRC. You will comply with all Employer processes in order to provide yearly permission to the Employer enabling it to view your status and to undertake random checks as required.
