Job Advert Location Description

The Cedars supports adults with learning disabilities and mental illnesses. We aim to provide a safe and homely environment, where everyone can make their own choices about the support they receive. We do everything we can to improve the health and wellbeing of the individuals we support. The team at The Cedars is focused on building positive outcomes for everyone.

Job Advert Role Description

The people that we support are encouraged through their Person Centred Plans to achieve their goals and aspirations. This might be attending college to access courses such as cooking, art and daily living skills, or it could be work placements and other day opportunities in line with their goals.

Within the service we continually and consistently promote the development of social skills, independent living and personal responsibility. Individuals learn these skills and responsibilities through tasks such as shopping, cooking, doing laundry and cleaning.

The Cedars is situated within a residential area of Gloucester, with excellent local amenities and the city centre just a few minutes away by foot. Local busses pass nearby every 10 minutes and the train station is also within easy reach

We are currently looking for both full and part time staff and a full driving licence would be preferable.
