Craegmoor has services across England, Wales and Scotland, all providing innovative, creative support enabling people with mental health problems, autism and learning disabilities to live the lives they want and have the opportunities they deserve.

Job Advert Location Description

Middlegate Lodge is a newly developed residential service set in extensive grounds in the market town of Caistor in Lincolnshire that offers rehabilitation and support for up to 6 adults with mental health illnesses and personality disorder.

This service provides a Pathway for people who need a step down service, offering quality transitional support for individuals who no longer require intensive support, yet continue to present a level of risk that requires fully supported and staffed support.

The scheme provides an integrated step down service from hospital, locked rehabilitation, or step up from the community where an individual is identified as currently having difficulty coping. Encouraging recovery and reenablement, and will include the offer of assertive support, to reintegrate individuals back into community life.

The service is supported by a quality assurance team including a specialist mental health advisor whose aim is to empower individuals to take control of their lives, and where possible, work towards a level of independence which fits with their skills, confidence and aspirations.

Job Advert Role Description

As a Support Worker you will be a key member of our team, providing high standards of person-centred support and care to our service users. Through a creative and caring approach, you will build good relationships with both service users and their families, supporting service users in the planning of goals and in living as independently as possible. Both personal care and participation in activities are key tasks for the role, so energy and initiative is vital; experience however is not essential, providing you have a willingness to learn and the compassion and patience needed to support.
