Job Advert Location Description

We are looking for support staff to join our dedicated team in Trowbridge. You don’t need to have experience as we offer a full induction program and training to all of our new starters. Staff already working here say  '(it's) a really enjoyable environment to work in that is never boring. To see your hard work pay off is so rewarding and you are given plenty of opportunities to try new activities and skills with the people we support.

Job Advert Role Description

We are particularly keen to hear from people who may have an interest in gardening, craft making, woodwork, DIY, or Sports, as these are some of the things that interest the people we support. If you consider yourself to be helpful, patient and an effective communicator, this could be the job for you. We support adults with Autism, Mental Health or Learning Disabilities across four homes in the Newtown area. Some of the important  key skills our Service Users expect from our staff are for them to be able to share ideas and interests, help sort out problems, be kind and listen and be able to give advice to help with their independence. If you feel you have these attributes please apply today.

As a Support Worker for Craegmoor Services Trowbridge, you will be helping others to develop personal and social skills; your day will be both challenging and rewarding, and sometimes physically demanding, but never dull! You will need to be confident and patient and able to remain calm and positive when challenging situations may arise.
