Support Worker Job, Working with Children in Wiltshire

We are looking for professional, dedicated Support Workers with experience working with children, who are committed to delivering high quality care to our clients in the Wiltshire area.

It's essential you are as confident delivering personal care and administering medication as you are enabling an individual to undertake the activities in life they desire. You should have a mindful approach of protecting the dignity of the individual and promoting their independence at all times. 

You will be working with children aged between 11 and 16 who have social, emotional and behavioural difficulties (SEBD).  This position offers a range of shifts including 24 hour shifts with sleep ins, presenting the opportunity to work hours suited to your availability. Due to the location of our clients, your own transport is essential.

Our ideal candidate will hold a British Institute of Learning Disabilities accredited Positive Intervention training certificate.

Within this Support Worker role, we can offer you:


  • Salary up to £14.66/hr, incl. holiday pay
  • Permanent contract with weekly pay

  • 24-hour support contact centre, open 365 days a year
  • One-to-one relationship with a local service manager

In order to be considered for this job you will need the following:


  • Right to live and work in the UK
  • At least 3 months’ previous paid experience working in care environment in the UK within the last 3 years
  • Referee contact details for your current place of work, and for all employments in the past 18 months or your 3 most recent jobs
  • Own transport essential
  • Experience working with children
  • British Institute of Learning Disabilities accredited Positive Intervention training preferred
