An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 6 Surgical Clinical Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic friendly team of practitioners.
We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic individuals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join our well established team with a commitment to delivering high quality individualised patient centred care.
The role will allow the successful applicant to be involved in an internal rotation between the elective surgical wards and the acute Surgical Assessment Unit covering a range of surgical specialities.
Although previous nurse practitioner experience would be an advantage and evidence of 5 years post registration experience at a senior staff nurse level within an acute surgical environment is essential.
The successful applicant will have the ability to lead, manage and supervise staff, delegate work appropriately and will be committed to quality improvement.
