Job Description

We provide a wide range of general and specialist services and play a central role in the local community. The aim of the post is to provide high quality physiotherapy to adults often with age related conditions and to deliver a patient centered service encouraging independence and control of their health. In providing this service, you will be expected to be professional, efficient, effective, and committed to Continuous Professional Development, contributing every day to making healthcare better. This post is rotational and provides physiotherapy input to the multi-disciplinary services based at St Mary’s Hospital (SMH) and Charing Cross Hospital (CXH). The rotations include:

• Medical Admissions Unit at SMH site
• Acute and Specialist Medicine wards at SMH site
• Acute and Specialist Medicine wards at CXH site

You will be part of a team and carry a clinical caseload of complex patients.
You will work closely with the specialist nurses, and other Allied Health Professionals to achieve service and Trust objectives.

The post will attract an effective communicator with specialist acute and rehabilitation skills to work with older adults with complex needs, expertise and experience working with multi-disciplinary teams and a flexible problem solving approach at a senior level.

The role will combine clinical, educational, research, service development and line management skills to support the Multi-disciplinary services.

You will be involved in assisting to deliver the AHSC tripartite mission of excellence in patient care, world class research and high standards of education.
