Early Intervention in Psychosis Service Team Leader – North Hampshire Team

Job Title: Early Intervention in Psychosis Team Leader – North Hampshire

Salary band: Band 7 – Range £31,383 - £41,373 (Pro-Rata)

Hours: Part-Time 30 hrs per week

Location: Bridge Centre, New Road, Basingstoke, Hampshire, RG21 7PJ

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Team Leader to join North Early Intervention in Psychosis Service. This position will be covering North CCG. There are two separate services with the North Team based at the Bridge Centre in Basingstoke and the West Service uses a hub and spoke model.

North West Early Intervention in Psychosis Service (EIP) work with 14 to 35 year olds presenting with their first presentation in psychosis is seeking a Band 7 Team Leader to join their multi-disciplinary team.

EIP Service are undergoing exciting developments and this post provides opportunity to be part of this and support the service to be compliant with national Access and Waiting Time Standards and becoming an accredited service.

The successful candidate will need to be compassionate and committed to providing patient centred and evidence based care. They will be expected to be able to prioritise their time effectively and confidently work alone within their scope of practice knowing when to seek help. The successful candidate will also need qualities that will enable them to focus on recovery, be caring and have the flexibility and resilience to engage collaboratively with clients and their family who are experiencing their first presentation of psychosis. You will also require good organisational and people skills to manage a well-developed service across North Hampshire.

Early Intervention in Psychosis Service is a 7 day service 9am until 5pm, therefore you will be expected to work weekends and some flexible working which may involve evening work.

You will need to have a current UK driving licence and access to a car.

Experience of working in this field will be an advantage.
