We are looking for support staff to join our dedicated team in Trowbridge. You don’t need to have experience as we offer a full induction program and training to all of our new starters. Staff already working here say '(it's) a really enjoyable environment to work in that is never boring. To see your hard work pay off is so rewarding and you are given plenty of opportunities to try new activities and skills with the people we support.
As a Team Leader you will be a key member of our team, providing high standards of person-centred support and care to our service users. Through a creative and caring approach, you will build good relationships with both service users and their families, supporting service users in the planning of goals and in living as independently as possible. Both personal care and participation in activities are key tasks for the role, so energy and initiative is vital; experience however is not essential, providing you have a willingness to learn and the compassion and patience needed to support. You will be expected to contribute to the on-call rota, be required to work a shift pattern of early and late starts with some double shifts, and be available for sleep in duties as part of your rota'd hours.
All roles will be subject to a successful disclosure at an appropriate level from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), Access NI or Disclosure Scotland. We are an equal opportunities employer.
