Team Leader
Job Description

Team Leader for supported living

Bixley Road, The Chantry, Ipswich, Suffolk  IP2 0BP

37.5 hours per week over 5 days including occasional nights/weekends

Fixed Term Contract 12 months

Are you looking to make a difference in your next supported living role? Join Sue Ryder as our next Team Leader and help people to remain independent and in their own home for longer!

Based from The Chantry situated in the beautiful grounds of Chantry Park in Ipswich, The Supported Living Team Leader will ensure the Scheme runs effectively enabling people with disabilities to lead an independent life of excellent quality in the comfort of their home.

The Chantry is a Sue Ryder specialist neurological 29 bed care centre. We care for people aged 18 and over who have life-changing conditions. We are here for people with physical disabilities and degenerative conditions such as motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's - as well as those with acquired conditions resulting from a brain or spinal injury or stroke.

At Sue Ryder not only do we treat more conditions than any other UK charity in our hospices, neurological care centres and out in the community; we also campaign to improve the lives of people living with them. We see the person, not the condition, taking time to understand the small things that help that person live the fullest life they can. Our shops, fundraising and volunteers support us to be there for people at the most difficult time of their lives.

For more information or to arrange an informal visit, please call Alana Page, Community Services Operations Manager, on 01473 295200.
