The position is full-time and shifts will include days, evenings and weekends plus on-call duties.

Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital
Founded in 1969, Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital was originally built from funds raised by the local community and is now one of the leading providers of private healthcare in Leicestershire. The Hospital has a strong local reputation with patients remaining loyal. The Hospital had a £45 million refurbishment in 2011 and was the blue print for the wider Hospitals refresh programme.
The Hospital has 39 ensuite inpatient beds, 2 Laminar flow theatres, Endoscopy Suite, minor treatment room and 14 consulting rooms. The hospital delivers a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient treatments and services using the best possible technologies. Since 2015 we have invested in a static MRI unit, a new digital X ray room & digital mammography. We are a local centre of excellence for Children and Young People Services. Having a Fitness & Wellbeing Gym in Leicester has led to a close working relationship and the Hospital was a forerunner for the Nuffield recovery plus programme.

We are interested in hearing from registered ODP’s or Theatre Nurses with relevant post-registration qualification experience with proven recovery skills of 5 years or more. In addition, competency in Intravenous Drug Administration is required.

You will have excellent communication skills, good time management and organisational skills and Immediate Life Support (ILS). Experience as a Team Leader or Senior member of staff is desirable along with qualifications in teaching and assessment.

Your experience will enable you to respond to the challenges of this position and you will be joining a well-respected hospital. You will enjoy the variety of working within different specialist areas, as well as the flexibility to work shifts. And you will do it in an innovative, clean, modern working environment, while benefiting from support and training opportunities, plus the time and nurse-patient ratio that ensures quality of care. If you are looking to further your experience in a dynamic and innovative business, you’ll find plenty of opportunity in this role.
