We are looking for innovative, enthusiastic and motivated Team Managers to join our Specialist Community Services. These exciting opportunities will see you joining a multi-disciplinary service that has recently benefitted from an extensive 'Emotional and Mental Health' review linked to the national Transformation agenda. This is a really exciting time to join a forward thinking and innovative service.

Ideally, the applicant will have a professional health or social care related qualification and have current registration. We support our staff in maintaining professional registration, hence a component of the working week being direct clinical contact with children, young people and families.

Working as part of a multi-skilled, experienced, motivated and creative service, you will be responsible for the effective day to day delivery and management of resources and staff and will be part of pathway management and leadership of portfolios across the Specialist Community Services.

In line with Leeds CAMHS ethic of working as a team collectively seeking ways to solve the most challenging problems, you will constantly look for ways to develop and improve the service you and your team offer through building relationships with other agencies and organisations, and leading and inspiring your team to find innovative solutions to every child's, young person's and family's needs. Your leadership ability and confidence in promoting a culture of ongoing service development and improvement will make you stand out from the crowd.

You will have fantastic communication skills, with the ability to manage challenging conversations and will demonstrate an attitude that respects and values others, encouraging choice, engagement and involvement from the children, young people and families who use our services.

Due to the nature of the role it is essential that applicants are able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes. If necessary adjustments can be considered in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.

If you are successful in being offered a position which involves working with patients, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The level of check required is dependent upon the position that you have applied for. The Trust will administer the DBS check on your behalf and will recover the cost (Enhanced £4883 or Standard £30) from your salary. There will be no charge if you are enrolled in the DBS Update Service.
