Technical Instructor

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Technical Instructor to work with Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists.

You will be based on the wards at Ilkeston Community Hospital. You will be expected to be a good communicator and be required to work as part of a team.

It is expected you have had experience working in a care setting and have attained NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent. A good standard of English is expected along with good communications skills.

Successful candidates will demonstrate good knowledge of dignity and care.

This post may include weekend working.

As a Technical Instructor it will be your responsibility to ensure that your behaviour reflects that required set out in the DCHS Way.

You will need to work closely with your team, go the extra mile to ensure high standards of work are achieved. This will include adhering to Trust policies and standards. We will expect you to treat everyone with dignity and respect and encourage other staff to do the same.

You will be passionate about DCHS, trying always to improve how you work, where patients are at the heart of everything you do.
