Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Operating Theatre Practitioner to join our client's busy Outpatients/Day Surgery team at their acute hospital site. The role is based in the comfortable outer suburb of Harrow, North West London, with strong rail and tube links.
This is a full-time role; our client is open to hearing from candidates seeking to negotiate a part-time hours opportunity, but rigid rostering cannot be accommodated.

Our client is a major provider of UK independent healthcare, working with many of the capital's most experienced Consultants and top healthcare specialists. This centre of excellence delivers a high standard of perioperative, supported by state-of-the-art equipment; the successful candidate will undertake scrub and circulating duties across a variety of surgical specialties within the Ambulatory Care/Day Surgery Unit.

Person Requirements:
RGN or Operating Department Practitioner with full registration with the NMC or HCPC as applicable.
At least one year's experience in Operating Theatres; including substantial Scrub experience at Band 5 or equivalent.
Knowledge of Clinical Governance and Infection Control issues.
