We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Operating Theatre Practitioner to join our client's busy Perioperative team at their large acute hospital site. The hospital is located on the edge of the engineering hub of Coventry, West Midlands, known for its university and celebrated post-war cathedral.
This hospital is able to accommodate skills from a Scrub or Anaesthetic/ Recovery Practitioner, and applications from multi-skilled applicants will be particularly welcomed. This is a full-time role but our client would also be interested in hearing from practitioners seeking to negotiate a part-time opportunity.
Our client is a large leading provider of independent healthcare in the UK. Working with many of the South East's most experienced Consultants and multidisciplinary healthcare specialists, this centre of excellence delivers outstanding Acute Surgical and Critical care with the aid of state-of-the-art equipment and a high standard of perioperative care.
The successful candidate will have good working knowledge of TSSU and Anaesthetic activities, and will work well as part of a team to provide consistently high-quality care.
Registered Nurse or ODP with full NMC/HCPC registration as appropriate.
One year's post-registration experience in Operating Theatres; including articulate and motivated graduate Operating Department Practitioners with relevant training experience.
Anaesthetic applicants must hold an appropriate ODP or post-graduate Nursing qualification.
Post-registration theatres course desirable.
