About the Client:

Join one of the largest independent healthcare providers that work in close partnership with NHS.
You will be working in one of their 50 service within the UK. This treatment centre offers a range of treatments from Orthopaedics, Endoscopy, Urology, Ophthalmology and General Surgery. You will be working in a modern facility that uses the most recent technology to treat their patients.


As Theatre Manager you will be reporting to the Head of Nursing and Clinical Services Manager. You will be responsible to manage the day to day operations of the day surgery using your specialist clinical advice and knowledge.

You will be leading an effective team of nurses and ancillary staff and ensure that you provide support to the staff when needed. Theatre Managers are expected to ensure that customised care is provided to each patient and to their relatives.

Theatre Managers also get the opportunity as to assess/develop pathways for their unit to ensure patient flow through the wards/theatres. You will also get the chance to develop your staff and to ensure that they accomplish excellent clinical practice.

About the Individual:

To be successful for the role of Theatre Manger you must be NMC Registered Nurse Part 1 and possesses Theatre Qualified or Diploma in Operating Theatre Technique. You must also have relevant experience within a theatre environment at a senior level.
