Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust provides integrated acute and community Healthcare in the West Midlands serving a population of 260,000 residents. Walsall Manor Hospital houses the full range of district general hospital services. The £170 million development was completed in 2010 and we are continually upgrading. Construction of the new integrated critical care unit has commenced and is due to be completed 2017, and plans to extend the neonatal unit are underway.

Theatre Services are looking for enthusiastic, dedicated and flexible members of staff to join our team of theatre practitioners.
The ideal candidates will be multi – skilled theatre practitioners undertaking at least two disciplines. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to rotate within theatres to cover all specialities. The successful candidates must be prepared to participate in the on – call rota.
You will need to be a Registered Nurse with a recognised theatre qualification, Operating Department Practitioner or a trainee ODP who is due to qualify in January 2017

This vacancy has a recruitment (attraction) premium payment of £1320 per year for 3 years. Payments will be at yearly intervals and candidates must successfully complete a 12 week induction / performance / competency period before payment is made in the first year.
