We have an exciting opportunity to increase the number of theatre practitioners within our dynamic, dedicated and friendly team in General Theatres.
We perform a wide range of elective surgical specialties, including Gynaecology, Urology, Breast, Vascular, Colorectal, and Upper GI, ENT / Max Fax and General surgery.
We also provide a comprehensive 24 hour emergency surgical service, which includes rotation to evening, night and weekend shifts with an on call commitment.
Our Theatre Team Leaders are pro-active and supportive and together with our Practice Educator support aim to deliver high quality patient care, in an innovative and friendly environment.
We are an active educational organisation and welcome the prospect of developing the potential for those with an interest in theatre peri-operative care.
Ideally the successful candidate will show an aptitude for skills in scrub, anaesthetics or both, and able to demonstrate the following qualities:
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• High standards of clinical peri -operative practice
• Evidence of previous comparable skills
• Eager and willing to learn and take responsibility
• Enjoy team working
• Work under pressure in a busy environment
• Adaptable and open to change
