Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen within one of the leading private hospital facilities in the Harley Street medical district for experienced Theatre Practitioners to join their skilled Operating Theatre team.

Demonstrating the highest commitment to patient care, satisfaction and cleanliness, this facility is at the forefront of private healthcare and the successful candidate will gain experience working with world renowned surgeons in what is often rated as one of the best hospitals in the UK.

Theatre Practitioner positions are available in Anaesthetics, Scrub and Recovery and all have a 37.5 hour working week.  Shifts will be predominantly on days although a degree of flexibility is required.

Applicants for Theatre Practitioner positions should meet the following criteria:

  • Qualified as an Adult/General Nurse (RGN) with NMC registration or as an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with HCPC registration
  • Extensive experience in an Operating Theatre environment, with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in either Scrub/Anaesthetics/Recovery
  • Well organised, enthusiastic and committed to providing the highest standards of patient care in line with best practices
  • Able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the department

As Theatre Practitioner, you will receive a competitive salary in the region of £32,000 to £34,000 per annum depending on experience.  Staff benefits include free meals whilst on duty, up to 35 days annual leave allowance, a company pension scheme and private healthcare plans.
