Location: Hertfordshire
Salary: £28,000- £32,000 (£14.36--£16.41 per hour)
Hours: Full Time 
Contract Type: Permanent

We are currently looking for a highly motivated and passionate Theatre Practitioner Scrub to join a very reputable private hospital in Hertfordshire. They will also consider Newly Qualified Nurses.The hospital is bright warm and welcoming and prides itself on its excellent working environment.  It is one of the leading private hospitals in the UK and is equipped with the latest medical facilities for diagnosis and treatment. By investing in this technology the hospital are able to offer a wide range of treatments including orthopaedic  procedures such as arthroscopy, hip and knee replacement, cosmetic surgery, cataract surgery and weightloss sugery. There is also a day surgery suite for minor surgery and endoscopic procedures. The hospital is in a central location and is easily accessible via public transport links around Hertfordshire.
What you’ll be doing:

  • As Theatre Practitioner Scrub  you will assist in all aspects of scrub nursing through a variety of specialities
  • As Theatre Practitioner Scrub you will be responsible for assisting with planning, implementing and assessing care of patients.
  • As Theatre Practitioner you will have a commitment to providing a high standard of individualised clinical care to ensure the needs of the surgical patients are met within the Theatre environment.
  • You will be assessment planning and implementing and evaluating carea and managing your own workload

What you’ll need:

  • As Theatre Practitioner Scrub you will have a registered nursing or ODP qualification
  • As Theatre Practitioner Scrub you will  be registered with the NMC or HCPC
  • As Theatre Practitioner Scrub you will have proven ability to work in a team or independently as required
  • As Theatre Practitioner you will have great attention to detail
  • High standard of clinical skills
  • Competent computer skills
  • Committed & Flexible.
  • Mentorship/Assessment Qualification
