Scrub Practitioners wanted to join award winning hospital!
The Walton Centre is looking for motivated theatre scrub practitioners to join them ahead of an exciting new theatre build. This opportunity would suit both newly qualified and experienced ODPs or nurses with scrub/anaesthetic/recovery/critical care experience and qualification.
Recruiting ahead of the new theatre build means successful candidates will benefit from a significant supernumerary period tailored to their needs in order to develop the necessary neuro skills.
The theatres at The Walton Centre have a proven track record of excellent patient care and consistently good student and visitor feedback.
Staff development is a priority and as such we can also offer opportunities to obtain further mentorship and neuroscience qualifications and to follow degree pathways.
The Walton Centre has won a raft of awards for its work and how it treats its staff. We are among the Nursing Times Top Ten Trusts for nursing care as well as being recognized as one of the top ten places to work in the NHS by the Health Service Journal awards 2015.
If you feel that specialising in a stand-alone neurosurgery unit may be for you, please contact us for an informal visit or more information. If you have not worked in the area of neuroscience before, and would like a ‘taster day’ as a visitor, please do not hesitate to contact us.
