Band 3 Therapy Technician
We are looking recruit Band 3 Therapy Technicians into our dynamic inpatient therapy teams.
One of our current Therapy Techs says “This job gives me a great opportunity to interact with patients, to build rapport and a therapeutic relationship to enable them to achieve their goals. In the Therapy Department it is rewarding to take part and complete a variety of tasks both independently, and as part of a supportive team”.
You will work alongside qualified physiotherapists and occupational therapists to deliver combined therapy treatment programmes, support discharge planning for inpatients, and undertake essential non-clinical roles to support the smooth running of the service.
You will either be part of a rotation or be based predominantly within one therapy team, and our inpatient teams are as follows:

The prevention and appropriate management of infection is of paramount importance in the quality and safety of the care of patients, and to the safety of visitors and members of staff. It is the responsibility of all staff to be aware of, assess and minimise these risks and comply fully with Infection Prevention and Control Policies.
The Health and Social Care Act 2008 (updated 2010), establishes a Code of Practice for the Prevention and Control of Health Care Associated Infections. It sets out criteria by which NHS managers ensure that patients are cared for in a clean environment where the risk of Healthcare Associated Infections (HCAI) is kept as low as possible.
