About the role

Following the growth of our NHS commissioned Clinical Services, we have an exciting new role for a Training, Compliance and Governance Lead. The role will be a high profile managerial role for BOC Homecare clinical services and clinicians employed therein.

The successful applicant will improve the standards of patient care through creating and delivering enhanced practice development and learning environment. The role holder will create an exciting and enthusiastic environment for learning which delivers results .The role holder will work as an internal consultant and change agent in relation to healthcare clinical practice development, education and quality improvement.

This role offers a very exciting opportunity to be part of the development of NHS commissioned services to patients within Clinical Services and Home Oxygen regions, being the forefront of setting the standards of care for patients.

This role can be a Home-Based role or based at a BOC office, dependent on the location of the successful applicant. As the role covers all Clinical Services and home oxygen regions within BOC Healthcare, travel and overnight stays, is expected. The successful applicant should have a full driving licence and due to the travel required for this role, it will be eligible for a Business Needs Car.

Education/ Qualifications

  • RN1: Level 1 Adult Registered Nurse on the NMC register or
  • Qualified HCP (e.g Physiotherapist) Registered with Health Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • BSC/1st Degree HealthCare/Nursing/Physiotherapy
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development in relevant area of speciality supplemented by specialist clinical managerial training
  • Evidence of specialist clinical/ managerial training and CPD
