DBS checks - As a Trust who is committed to securing the safety of its staff, patients and property, we use the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS). In line with other NHS organisations in the Yorkshire and Humber Region, the Trust is now passing the charge for undertaking a DBS check on to candidates in the event that they are successfully appointed into the post for which they have applied. Please note that this check will be charged for in two instalments when you commence employment with Doncaster & Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. By applying for this vacancy you are agreeing to this undertaking in the event you are successfully appointed.

As a Trust we value HONESTY from our staff and therefore we encourage applicants to tell us about convictions, cautions, reprimands, warnings, regardless of when they took place, in the application and interview process. Having a criminal record will not necessarily bar you from working with us; this will depend on the nature of the position and the circumstances of your offences which will be discussed in a meeting between yourself, the Recruitment Team and your potential line manager..

If you are employed by the Trust and are interested in applying for this vacancy as a secondment (if advertised as such), please access the Secondment Policy (CORP/EMP 39) via the intranet, for guidance on requirements.

Please read the Job Description and Person Specification carefully to ensure that you meet the skills and experience required for the post. The 'Supporting Information' area on the application form is available if you wish to expand on your skills and experience.
