ST1/2 Trust Grade Doctor in Rheumatology
Applications are invited for a ST1/2 Trust Grade Doctor in Rheumatology at Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust (LTHT).
The Dept of Rheumatology at LTHT is a world renowned centre of excellence for Rheumatology, and as a result has been awarded the prestigious NIHR Biomedical Research Unit status since 2008.
This post would involve working on the rheumatology inpatient ward. The post holder would also provide cover for the day unit where patients attend for intravenous infusions and injections. The position is based at our dedicated Rheumatology centre at Chapel Allerton Hospital, situated in a pleasant suburb of Leeds.

If you are successful in being offered a position which involves working with patients, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The level of check required is dependent upon the position that you have applied for. The Trust will administer the DBS check on your behalf and will recover the cost (Enhanced £48 or Standard £30) from your salary over a 3 month period (including Internal staff). You will also be required to participate in the DBS Update Service and pay the £13 cost per year. This is a condition of your employment and will need to be renewed annually. Note for Band 1 roles the Trust will pay for the cost of the DBS checks and will refund to you the cost of the update service.
